We are a trusted, reputable building and scaffolding company, with an extensive history on the Isle of Wight, dating back over 100 years.

We specialise in all types of construction across domestic and commercial properties, including new builds and refurbishments.

We also provide specialist adaptations and disabled facilities.

In 2001, three siblings, Alan, Roger and Teena, took over the business, committing to take the company forward with their experience, expertise and passion for quality and care.

Alan Hibberd
Director of Contracts

Alan puts the A in ART, ambitious for the business and its customers, always looking for innovative solutions to challenges that would put others off. His passion drives the company into new pastures, no job to big or to complex – that’s his motto. His charm and ability to listen ensures the client is at ease as soon as they meet.

Jack Hibberd
Foreman
Jack is our youngest member of the Foreman team, he has been with us since he was 16 starting off as a scaffolder progressing through to carpentry which is now his main trade. No matter what he faces he will complete the task with a smile and determination.
Sophie Hibberd
Business Manager
Sophie brings fresh ideas to the business managing all communications, social media and marketing activities.
Teena Hibberd
Director of Finance
Teena adds the T to ART, tenacious in upholding the companies vision. She is the driver behind Brading's core values plus our resident agony aunt for both employees and clients. She always faces life with a smile.
Wayne Knight
Foreman
Wayne is expanding our small works department, which includes bathroom adaptations for all needs. He is so eager to get to work every morning he sets out before 6am on his beloved road bike (now that’s keen!)
Joshua Appell
Foreman

Josh is our newest member of the Foreman team. He manages all of our new build sites due to his unlimited knowledge with timber frame construction. In his spare time Josh is a keen sportsman with a great boxing background and a continued love for football.
Barbara Phillips
Transport Manager and Scaffold Administrator
Barbara ensures everybody is in the right place at the right time and makes sure all our vehicles are in perfect condition. Barb has a wealth of knowledge in lorries and its always been her passion to work with them.
